Driving Beyond Boundaries

Susan Fielder’s art, carried into the world as a moving tribute to the people we love and a visible call for pancreatic cancer awareness. ArtfulMiles.org is where that journey lives.

Drive the Story

More Than a Wrapped Car

ArtfulMiles.org is the automotive expression of iPlaid: original artwork transformed into a vehicle wrap, taking art and remembrance beyond the gallery and onto the road. A car becomes a rolling canvas, a conversation starter, and a way to carry a meaningful story into everyday life.

The vision is simple: let beauty draw people in, then let the story behind it make a difference. Each design can carry a tribute, connect people with iPlaid, and bring pancreatic cancer awareness into places where that conversation might otherwise never begin.

This is moving art with a purpose. It is about remembering a life, sharing a story, and keeping hope in motion.

Where It Began

In Memory. In Motion.

After losing her husband, Dan Mears, to pancreatic cancer in 2013, Susan Fielder turned to her iPad and began creating art. Her first plaid became iPlaid, named in tribute to Steve Jobs, whose innovation made that creative journey possible and whose life was also taken by pancreatic cancer.

iPlaid means Intuitive Passion Launches an Inner Discovery. What began as a personal expression of grief and love grew into a movement connecting art, remembrance, and research.

ArtfulMiles.org carries that same purpose onto a new canvas. Dan’s memory, Steve Jobs’ creative legacy, and Susan’s artwork come together in a vision that turns a vehicle into a public expression of hope.

Wear the Story. Drive the Story. Live the Story. Help Change the Outcome.

The Art on the Road

Every View Carries the Story

These concept boards explore how Susan’s artwork can flow across a vehicle’s front, sides, and rear. The artwork remains the focus, with space for remembrance and a connection to the iPlaid mission.
