THE STORY BEHIND IPLAID

Inspired by Love.
Driven by Purpose.

After losing her beloved husband Dan Mears to pancreatic cancer, Susan Fielder found herself drawn to art as a form of healing and resistance. She picked up an iPad and began to draw, never imagining that this simple act of grief and love would become the movement driving awareness for this silent killer.

Her first piece of art was a plaid created on the iPad. As an Apple fan, she found purpose in the name iPlaid, in memoriam of Steve Jobs, who also lost his life to pancreatic cancer. Hence iPlaid was born: "Intuitive Passion Launches an Inner Discovery." It also pays tribute to the Plaid Tesla, connecting one visionary, Steve Jobs, to another, Elon Musk.

That painting became the seed of iPlaid: a bridge between art and advocacy, between personal grief and collective action. Today, every product sold carries that original spirit, beauty in service of a cure.

Susan donates 10% of all sales to researchers to help find a cure. To date, over $160,000 for UCSD Moores Cancer Center and Sanford Burnham , shedding light on this hidden killer and making a meaningful impact on countless lives.

After 35 years in the promotional and marketing industry, Susan has shifted her focus to creating art that raises awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer, inspired by those lost to the disease.

STORIES OF LOSS AND LEGACY

Tribute and Stories

Honoring the visionaries, artists, innovators, and beloved figures whose lives were cut short by pancreatic cancer.

iPlaid Pancreatic Cancer Awareness

Every Purchase Has Purpose.

Every Product Has Power.

When you shop at the A Musk Have TikTok store, you are not just buying a product. You are standing in the gap against one of the deadliest, most silent killers of our time, pancreatic cancer.

Susan Fielder did not start this brand as a business idea. She started it from heartbreak.

She lost her husband suddenly to pancreatic cancer, a diagnosis that often comes too late and steals too fast. The shock. The devastation. The unfairness. Instead of staying in the grief, she chose to build something from it.

She chose to create.

Every piece of art. Every product. Every design carries intention, honoring those who lost their fight and fueling hope for those still in it. Revenue from purchases goes toward funding pancreatic cancer research, because early detection and better treatments are not optional. They are urgent.

This disease is quiet. We do not have to be.

Our signature piece, iPlaid, pays tribute to Steve Jobs, a visionary who reshaped how we live, connect, and create, and who also lost his battle to pancreatic cancer. Innovation changed the world once. It can do it again.

Inspired by Elon Musk’s Plaid Tesla, Susan’s bold vision is to one day wrap a Tesla and unveil the iPlaid Tesla, creating artful cars that make a difference, a moving tribute to innovation, legacy, and the fight for a cure.

It is more than a product. It is a statement. It is momentum.

When you purchase from A Musk Have, you are not just shopping. You are investing in research, in remembrance, and in a future where fewer families hear the words no one is prepared for.

Be part of something bigger.
Turn grief into action.
Turn art into impact.

Because the most powerful gift you can give is hope.

Dan Mears

IN MEMORY OF

The Dan Mears

iPlaid is a personal initiative inspired by my late husband, Dan Mears, who was lost to pancreatic cancer. While grieving, I created a plaid design on my iPad, naming it iPlaid to honor both Dan and Steve Jobs, another victim of this disease.

The name stands for "Intuitive Passion Launches an Inner Discovery" and symbolizes hope, resilience, and purpose. iPlaid's mission is to raise awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer research, support patients and families, and honor those we've lost.

Together, we can turn iPlaid into a powerful symbol of progress in the fight against this devastating disease.

"Hope is one of our most vital emotions. Cancer survivors call it life's parachute. The moment you embrace hope, your cancer success story begins, for hope is the opposite of despair. Hope believes even when the odds look gloomy. Hope affirms we're here for each other, and it comes from all quarters."
No Matter What. No Matter What. No Matter What.
